In 2002 the organisers under the leadership of the late John Hanlon needed 800 working tractors, 1835 actually turned up! “Cooley’s Working Festival 2004” saw a splendid display of pre-1930 tractors at work. “Cooley’s World Record 2007” was the big one which came in August when after months of planning, 4572 tractors came to Cooley to set a world record which still stands today. “Wee County Vintage Rally” in County Louth, as it’s known, hosts one of the largest rallies of its kind, is a “bonus”.
